Industry Veteran Arnie Raubolt Joins FirstFruits Marketing

Yakima, WA – With the 2010-2011 apple season underway, FirstFruits Marketing continues to grow, with the addition of Arnie Raubolt to its sales team.

Effective, August 25, Raubolt will assume his new position in sales. Raubolt, an industry veteran, will work on new and existing domestic retail, wholesale and foodservice accounts.

Keith Mathews, CEO of FirstFruits Marketing commented, “Arnie’s past retail experience in both merchandising and procurement is an asset to our business as we partner with our customers to develop and grow strong category programs.”

Raubolt most recently held the position of Field Buyer for apples, pears and cherries in Albertson’s – SuperValu Field Buying office. With over 30 years of retail experience, Raubolt has advanced through the produce ranks learning every aspect of the business from produce clerk, to sales and merchandising, to procurement, with experience throughout the Western states.

When asked about the new position, Raubolt had this to say. “It has been my goal to have a well rounded experience that gives me a full perspective of the produce industry. I feel like this new phase in my career on the grower-shipper side of the business does just that. And more importantly, the opportunity to work for a company like FirstFruits is the icing on the cake. I have the deepest respect for their philosophy of giving back and I’m excited to participate in such deserving causes.”

Raubolt makes his home in Selah, WA with his wife and he’s the proud father of three children and eight grandchildren. He is actively involved in his community and spends countless hours volunteering in homeless shelters and soup kitchens. In his spare time he is an avid runner and is currently training to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
