Orlando, FL – Idea Garden Marketing is bringing a fresh new face to produce marketing, making its’ official debut at Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure conference in Orlando this weekend. From marketing strategy to overall branding, website development to social media strategy and implementation, Idea Garden Marketing is positioned to cultivate brands and grow businesses across the industry.
Although Idea Garden Marketing is officially introducing itself at Southern Exposure, its founders, John and Kim Avola, are not strangers to produce with a combined eleven years of marketing experience in the industry. The team is eager to bring their collective talent to the table in the new endeavor.
As former Vice President and six year veteran at Produce for Kids, Kim’s experience taking the company from a simple point-of-sale program to a year-round, multi-channel organization that worked with retailers, suppliers and consumers, offers the ideal platform for the new full service marketing company. John’s strong background in digital marketing provides him with the ability to take brands to the next level online. John is a featured speaker at Southern Exposure this year presenting an educational workshop on ‘How Digital is Affecting Grocery Shopping Trends’.
In addition to their integrity based foundation and out-of-the-box thinking, Idea Garden Marketing also believes in helping to make the world a better place. They are proud to donate 3% of all fees to any non-profit organization of their clients’ choice.
“We are thrilled to officially launch a full service marketing company focusing on produce. With John’s experience in digital marketing and my insight, it just made sense,” said Kim Avola, Founder and Managing Partner. “Our passion for the industry and backgrounds gives Idea Garden Marketing the foundation needed to build successful brands, all while helping causes that are important to our clients.”
Idea Garden Marketing is already making a statement in the industry, and specifically at Southern Exposure this year, by developing 2014southernexposure.com and managing the Southeast Produce Council’s online registration and new ExpoBadge process. Idea Garden Marketing has spearheaded other projects such as management of Southeast Produce Council’s social media and seproducecouncil.com, as well as the development of the new spccharitygolfclassic.com website.
