Highline Mushrooms, Leamington, Ontario, Canada, received the 2017 Best New Product Award at The New York Produce Show and Conference for its Organic Mushroom Medley bags.
The Organic Medleys – which come in Steakhouse Style, Pasta Perfect, and Sizzling Stir Fry – introduce consumers to new mushroom varieties and cooking ideas, as well as provide convenient meal solutions, according to Highline.

The New Product Award was judged by a team of editors and contributing writers from PRODUCE BUSINESS magazine, which manages The New York Produce Show and Conference. “Just by looking at their packages in the showcase, we could tell Highline had a fantastic new product that appealed to three of our qualifications: great packaging, great product appearance and great value-added appeal to make it easier for consumers to want to buy,” said Ken Whitacre, Publisher/Editorial Director of PRODUCE BUSINESS.
