Chelsea, MA – DiSilva Fruit is adding heirloom navels to its citrus offerings. These delicious oranges, cultivated from vintage groves, will be an excellent addition to the peak season line-up.
Heirloom navels are hand selected from California's historic old-line orange groves. These vintage oranges are harvested at peak sweetness and deliver a one-of-a-kind citrus experience.

Heirloom oranges will be available January through March, packaged in 3lb bags as well as 20lb and 40lb cartons. They join a full line of fruit and citrus offerings from DiSilva Fruit, including grapefruit, lemons, limes, specialty citrus, apples, avocados and more.
Oranges are excellent when used in cooking both sweet and savory meals, topped on salads, or enjoyed as a snack. A very healthy fruit, they provide an excellent source of fiber, folate, potassium, and antioxidants. Oranges also bolster the immune system with a heavy dose of Vitamin C.
