Hockessin, Del. – September and Fruits & Veggies—More Matters month are just days away, but now is the perfect time to plan how you’ll celebrate with Produce for Better Health Foundation (PBH)! Based on your feedback, we are happy to share that we are using the very popular theme from last year, Grab N’ Go, with a new twist! The theme focuses on the ease of grabbing and eating fruit and veggies despite our hectic lives. An eye-catching and ready-to-use graphic, to highlight on your company website and social media channels, along with sample social media posts that can be customized, are now available on the PBH Foundation website.
For 2016, the Grab N’ Go theme will also include a fun social media photo share campaign encouraging consumers to snap a picture and share with PBH how they, their family and their friends ‘grab’ and eat their fruit and veggies on the go. PBH encourages you to promote this fun photo share campaign on your company’s social media channels throughout September. Two different images to excite consumers about the Grab N’ Go photo share campaign are also available on the PBH Foundation website.
Lastly, to continue our year-long 25th anniversary celebration, PBH has launched an online giving option to make it easy for individuals to make a monetary donation that will go towards PBH continuing to educate consumers about the many benefits of eating fruits and vegetables, along with providing free tools, resources and abundant information. It’s easy to give online; a few clicks and a little bit of information is all it takes to complete the donation.
"These elements are the perfect tools for retailers, processors, supermarket dietitians, and other health professionals to use in their consumer outreach efforts throughout Fruits & Veggies—More Matters month." said Elizabeth Pivonka, Ph.D., R.D., president and CEO of PBH. "Look for more information, promotions and updates about September and the Grab N’ Go theme on the Fruits & Veggies—More Matters Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram platforms. We appreciate all of the support and are looking forward to another fantastic Fruits & Veggies—More Matters month!"
