LOS ANGELES – Gourmet Trading Company, year-round distributor of fresh asparagus and blueberries, has hired Jesus Recendez Garcia as its new Transportation Manager.
Garcia initially became interested in logistics while working at FedEx and simultaneously studying for his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Biola University. During his 10 year career at FedEx Garcia completed the company’s Management Training Program.
Garcia comes to Gourmet Trading Company with 3 years of produce transportation management experience. “Jesus’ extensive knowledge of transportation logistics and drive to learn more makes him the right candidate to move the company forward,” stated Gourmet Trading Company Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Kristen Francisco.
