DINUBA, CA (January 29, 2010) Fruit Patch adds produce industry veteran, Sabrina Mak, to its sales and marketing team. We are delighted that Sabrina Mak has agreed to join Fruit Patch, said Sheri Mierau, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Fruit Patch. Her expertise in developing programs based on category data compliments Fruit Patchs goals of expanding demand and working with our partners to meet those needs, Ms. Mierau further stated.
For the past 5 years, Sabrina Mak was the Director of Trade Marketing and Director of National Programs for Ballantine Produce where she developed retail programs that focused on demand and consumer needs. Working with retail partners to build programs and categories has been the backbone of Ms. Maks produce career, and her contributions have yield positive results at other companies where she formerly worked, Vitasoy USA and Yves Veggie Cuisine. Collectively, Ms. Mak has 19 years of produce industry experience.
In her role as Trade Marketing Manager, Sabrina Mak will be reporting to Sheri Mierau. According to Ms. Mierau, Sabrina will work with me to develop business and category management tools. She has the knowledge to use retail and consumer insight to create the foundation of our services to our partners.
Recruiting Sabrina to Fruit Patch supports our goal of becoming the preferred partner of independent growers in the San Joaquin Valley by further building our retail base said President and CEO Scott Wallace. Category management increases category sales benefiting our growers, trade partners and Fruit Patch, Wallace went on to say.
