FOWLER, Calif., – The Bee Sweet Citrus sales team reports that August and September will act as great promotional months for Chilean oranges and mandarins.
"With families gearing up for the back-to-school season, Chilean oranges and mandarins are in high demand," noted Bee Sweet Citrus Sales Representative Joe Berberian. "Incredibly healthy and tasty, these citrus varieties act as great snacks for work or school."
To ensure that all Chilean oranges and mandarins meet the company's standards in quality and freshness, Bee Sweet's Food Safety and Quality Control team check that all product is certified and audited in food safety, social accountability and sustainability. All imported product can also be repacked and reconfigured to meet specific pack styles of various consumers.
Through the company’s import program, Bee Sweet Citrus receives Clementines, Navel oranges, Cara Cara Navels, Minneola Tangelos and lemons. Supply for Chilean oranges and mandarins, however, will be particularly strong throughout the end of summer.
"Oranges and mandarins have become a staple for many households, and the demand for these varieties increase during the back-to-school season, " continued Berberian. "We're happy to meet the needs of our consumers year-round and look forward to wrapping up our import season on a strong note."
