On Saturday, June 1st, the Eastern Produce Council hosted close to 110 golfers at the 44th Annual Sal Zacchia, Phil LaRocca and Pete Piastra Memorial Golf Outing at Royce Brook Golf Club in Hillsborough, NJ, according to EPC Executive Director, Susan McAleavey Sarlund.
Under ideal weather conditions, the winning foursome, with a score of 57, consisted of Mort Haney, Chad Haney, Will Hance and Ben Austin. The second place group with a score of 58 was made up of Doug Hamel, Rob Kajewski, Mike Pucci and Jerri Pucci.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to Hackensack Hospital’s Tomorrows Children’s Fund.
