Cuyama Orchards has expanded its heirloom and specialty apple programs for the 2010 season and expects a bumper crop. It is sweet, tart, and juicy, and it's everyone's favorite apple once they try it. It's a great item going into Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, the kids love them."
Cuyama Orchards is the nations leading shipper of Crimson Gold Apples. They pack the Crimson Gold in 1 lb. bags, as well as volume filled foodservice packs. Altogether they grow 10 apple varieties on 260 certified organic acres in the Cuyama Valley of California. Their season starts with Gala and Honeycrisp in the beginning of September and runs through April with their Fuji and Pink Lady. The Crimson Gold runs from October 15 through Christmas.
