Coastline Re-introduces American Classic Label

Salinas, CA – Coastline Produce is now the exclusive shipper of the American Classic label!  In addition to the Coastline and Greenettes labels, American Classic is now available for your Western Vegetable needs.  Current offerings include celery, lettuce and romaine with additional phase II products to come in an ever broadening product line.

The American Classic brand was first introduced in the early 1980’s. It is a highly respected brand. The American Classic label also has a very patriotic stature which appeals to receivers and consumers alike.  Historically, American Classic had a very loyal following in major markets such as Boston, Chicago, New York, Detroit, Canada and other international markets.  Over the past year Coastline has added many of the key components of the original Salyer American organization; growers, employees, facilities, and now the labels, are part of the Coastline family.

Coastline is committed to the highest levels of quality and service and now with the addition of the American Classic brand we provide one more excellent reason for making Coastline your shipper of choice. We believe the addition of the American Classic label adds tremendous value for our customers, and ultimately the consumer.

"At Coastline, we are always looking to improve our brand presence at the retail, foodservice and international levels" says Vice President, Phil Adrian.  Additionally, Mr. Adrian continues, “We are bringing these powerful brands back to the market place to support the continued growth of our products and services.  We plan to leverage these brands to penetrate both new geographic and new market segments.”
