Orange, CA – Interfresh, Inc., a national marketer of fresh fruits and vegetables, announced today that citrus industry veteran John Famini has joined the company in the role of National Accounts Manager for the Citrus Department.
Famini, a graduate of California State University Northridge, brings 23 years of citrus experience to Interfresh, all of it with Sunkist Growers.
“John’s knowledge of the citrus industry and decades of experience will be a great asset to Interfresh”, said Darryl Anderson, Citrus Division Director. Interfresh president Chris Puentes agreed, adding “We’ve worked with John for many years, and we’re confident he’ll be a great addition to the team in expanding our citrus reach.”
Famini concurred, stating “I’ve worked with the Interfresh team for many years, and greatly respect the company. I’m looking forward to bringing my expertise to my new role here”.
Famini enjoys “long hikes, awesome road trips, and good beer” and has “a strong love of family”. His accomplishments include earning the President’s Award for Sales Excellence, among others, at Sunkist. He also has proudly served on the board of directors for the Southern California-based Fresh Produce and Floral Council.
Famini will be based in the Los Angeles offices of Interfresh.
