Salinas, CALIF – Church Brothers Farms, a leading grower/processor/shipper of more than 500 fresh vegetable SKUs, is restructuring its sales department to better serve its customers as the company continues its growth.
As part of the restructure, Tom Bramers was promoted to sales manager. In the new position, the sales team, commodity managers and appointment loading teams – a total of 20 – now report to Bramers.
Bramers has been in the fresh produce industry since 1993 and has worked at Church Brothers Farms since 2009. Prior to joining the company, he worked for Merrill Farms and River Ranch. He is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in agribusiness; and is the nephew of company co-founders Tom and Steve Church.
“We’re looking forward to Tom taking the reigns and managing the sales team on a daily basis,” said Steve Church, CEO. “He has a lot of experience on both the sales and commodity management side of the business. Both our internal team and our customers respect him and I know he’ll do a great job.”
In addition to Bramers’ promotion, Jeff Church’s role at the company has also shifted to a larger scope as he takes over as vice president of sales. In that role, he will support Bramers and manage the regional sales team, national accounts, business analyst, logistics and marketing. These changes will allow him to focus on supporting corporate initiatives and maintain the growth the company has experienced the last 10 years.
