The Castellini Group of Companies has bought Georgia-based General Produce, an acquisition that allows the Cincinnati-based produce company to expand into the Southeastern United States.
General Produce, headquartered in Forest Park, Ga., an Atlanta suburb, describes itself as “the largest full line wholesale produce house in the southeast.”
Founded in 1960, General Produce serves retail, food service and wholesale customers in 11 Southeastern states. Like Castellini Companies, General Produce is family owned.
