Bridges Produce Launches New Website & Increased Social Media Presence

Bridges Organic Produce has refreshed and expanded their online presence with a new website and increased social media visibility. Their new website www.bridgesproduce.com was designed to function smoothly across desktop, tablet and mobile platforms to increase interaction with their customers and provide easy access to important information.

“People are constantly turning to the internet to learn more. Consumers, retailers and wholesalers all want instant access to information about the produce they are buying and the farms they are sourcing from. We felt the need to make that information readily accessible to all digital platforms and to increase our presence in social media to communicate our story to everyone interested,” said Ben Johnson, President of Bridges Produce.

The new website is designed to highlight the mission of Bridges Produce, the organic family farms they work with and the apples, pears, summer fruits, row crops and potatoes they market. It also functions as a source of information for wholesale and retail buyers by providing packing specifications, product availability calendars and PLU/UPC codes.

Bridges website features photos and commodity information regarding the many varieties of organic produce that Bridges specializes in. These descriptions and photos illustrate the many varieties, the unique flavor profiles, preparation advice, and availability.

Bridges Produce is proud of the growers they represent for both their commitment to organics as well as their efforts toward sustainability. The grower profiles highlight some of the families you are supporting when you purchase produce from Bridges, and draw attention to the growers’ efforts in sustainable land use, pest control and health of the farm workers.

Bridges Produce has hired Sydney Fairchild, Marketing/Sustainability Coordinator, to manage their increased presence on Facebook, and Twitter as well as to help drive Bridges sustainability initiatives. “The goal of Bridges social media is to not only keep our customers and consumers up to date on the seasonal produce we represent, but to also serve as a source of information regarding the constantly evolving organic market.  We are proud of our commitment to organics and sustainability and are excited to have an outlet to share our knowledge and continuing efforts towards sustainability,” said Sydney Fairchild
