HENDERSON, Colo. – Birko, a leading provider of food safety solutions for the produce industry, today announced that its produce specialist, Ian Bessell, has graduated from the Emerging Leader Development Program, sponsored by the Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association (FFVA).
“The Emerging Leader Development Program helped me gain new insights and perspectives about production agriculture,” Bessell said. “It’s been great to have the opportunity to visit with folks throughout the industry and talk candidly about their operations, what they think of industry trends and what challenges they face in their individual businesses.”
Bessell recently joined Birko as the firm’s Director of Business Development and Food Safety for Produce.
