Organic specialist Awe Sum Organics has promoted Jodi Carkner, top producer within the team, to Sales Manager. Jodi was selected in part because of her strong work ethic, her proven leadership skills, and a tremendous growth in sales since she joined ASO last year. Carkner is a veteran of the organic produce industry with extensive experience in sales of both domestic and import product to North American and export markets. “I look forward to leading our Awe Sum team toward continued growth and success for our growers and customers with the ultimate goal of increasing organic food consumption,” said Carkner.
ASO also welcomes Jocelyn Olson, formerly with Robinson Fresh, to the sales team. Jocelyn studied at Cal State University, Long Beach where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Upon returning to the Central Valley in 2009, Jocelyn was hired as an Account Manager at Robinson Fresh where her primary focus was produce sales for food service programs. “Throughout my upbringing, organic and alternative treatments were emphasized and they continue to be an integral focus of my personal health and well- being.” Olson expressed.
Jocelyn began participating in organized sports programs at an early age and she continues to compete recreationally in both volleyball and softball. Her hobbies also include wakeboarding, snowboarding and maintaining her late father’s hand-built classic hot rod.
