Avocados From Mexico Unveils Lineup Of Innovative Programming At PMA 2017

DALLAS – Avocados From Mexico (AFM), the number-one selling Avocado brand in the U.S., will be showcasing their latest initiatives and partnerships along with the industry premiere of the short film, Avocadoland™, at the upcoming PMA Fresh Summit Convention & Exposition in New Orleans, Louisiana from October 19-21, 2017.

“We are excited to share our best practices, seasonal program lineup and unveil our Avocadoland™ film at PMA. Through the equally educational and enticing film we hope to share the story of our avocados and what makes Avocados From Mexico so delicious,” said Alvaro Luque, President of Avocados From Mexico.

Through AFM’s partnership with Tastemade, the Avocadoland™ film will feature the journey of avocados from the Mexican state of Michoacán to consumers’ homes. The Avocadoland™ Cinema experience will be located inside the AFM exhibit.

This year, in addition to the debut of the Avocadoland™ film retailers will be able to learn about partnership opportunities that can drive their business, including new seasonal programs, best practices based on AFM’s proprietary shopper mindset study and usage occasion ideas. AFM’s shopper engagement initiatives attract consumers, create opportunities to discover and inspire consumers to act, further growing the category and drive traffic to the produce department.

“As the category leader, our goal is to lead trade excellence by providing best-in-class tools for the shopper experience to drive consumption and retailer sales,” said Maggie Bezart-Hall, Vice President of Trade and Promotions for Avocados From Mexico. “We’re forecasting strong volume and have created robust marketing efforts to support the supply.”

Retailers can learn more about AFM’s upcoming programming in its brand showcase area featuring its 2017-2018 lineup of national seasonal initiatives and merchandising programs in retail trade which will cover Holiday, the Big Game, March Madness and Cinco time periods.

Throughout the day, attendees will be transported through a full-sensory experience when visiting the “New Generations” area.
