Orlando, FL. – Australians watermelon growers met with NWPB staff at their offices February 25th. The group included those that had been in Savannah for NWA meetings and some ( but not all) that attended the NWPB meeting. Staff met with them for over three hours. That included a luncheon before they headed south to visit watermelon seed research facilities. There was a great exchange of ideas. The Australians are trying to form a version of the NWPB in their country.
