In addition to our increased marketing, Atlas produce is also upgrading their packaging. The new packaging is Pet 1 and processed in a proprietary direct to sheet process that eliminates 5 stages of production. This process is very environmentally friendly and reduces energy consumption by 65% and has a 28% lower carbon footprint than competing containers. It also is very clear and merchandises the dates very well.
About California Grown Dates:
California is the largest producer of fresh dates. Dates grow in clusters below the fronds of a date palm tree. The fruit is 1 to 3 inches long, thinly skinned, with plump sweet flesh and a small pit in the center. Caramel Naturel dates and date products are all natural and nutrient rich. They are an excellent source of fiber, potassium and antioxidants and are fat, sodium, and cholesterol free.
