At the FRESH SUMMIT Expo, it was held the signature of the agreement that aims to promote responsible and active participation, in actions that will strengthen the industry.
In the signature of this agreement participated, by the AMHPAC; Cesar Campana Acosta, Carlos Cueto Rodriguez, Eric Viramontes Serralde and on behalf of Bayer; Adonay Obando Vindas y Jose Gildardo Cuevas Gonzalez.
One of the main objectives of this agreement is to address the issue of food safety, that has taken an important place for supermarkets and public in general, that are now more careful of fruits and vegetables they consume and how they are being produced.
It is important to note that in August 2009, the agreement between the AMHPAC and Bayer CropScience was signed for the first time, and this time it will be valid for two years.
During the event, the legal representative of the AMHPAC, Cesar Campana Acosta, said that for growers is essential to promote standards that generate market order. Besides, he highlighted the importance of the elements of food safety, production quality, and traceability of processes, among others, that promote an order of the industry.
For his part, the Country Head of Bayer CropScience, Adonay Obando, said that partners of this organization recognize the high level of quality demand, safety and standardization of the Food Chain Partnership program and for such, it is necessary to keep making efforts to strengthen the relationship of trust with the AMHPAC.
Some of the companies that have been benefited from the work that has been done by Bayer and the AMHPAC, in this regard, are: Zarattini, El Rosal, San Jose and its Agriculture, Bioparques, Desert Glory, Natural Valley, Almerimex, Agricola El Lucero, Divemex, Agricola Esmeralda, among others.
The AMHPAC, new image of the Food Chain Partnership
During the event it was officially launched the new international campaign of the Food Chain Partnership, in the image appears the CEO of the AMHPAC, Eric Viramontes Serralde, who has distinguished himself for being a regular contributor to the projects in this program.
