SONOMA, CALIF. (May 4, 2010)—After a long and successful career at Vance Publishing Corp., Lenexa, Kan., Allison Myers has opened a retail and foodservice merchandising service based in Overland Park, Kan.
Her first two clients are the Chilean Fresh Fruit Association and the Chilean Avocado Importers Association. She will be responsible for merchandising support activities for both throughout the Midwest. She’ll initially work with Barbara Glynn, who intends to gradually move toward retirement.
“We feel fortunate to have Allison’s agreement to take on these merchandising responsibilities. She has in-depth knowledge of all facets of the world of produce, as well as being well-known and respected by the produce trade,” said Tom Tjerandsen, Managing Director for CFFA.
