A&A Organic Marketing Offers Purple Garlic

Watsonville, CA (April 8, 2010) – Vampires beware! In addition to organic white garlic from Argentina, A&A Organic Marketing, Inc. in Watsonville, CA has added organic purple garlic to the mix. The purple garlic, grown in Mexico, is packed in the "Monarch Organic" label. Along with all of A&A Organic Marketing's West Coast imports, this product will load at Better Life Organics' dock in Los Angeles, CA. In addition to the traditional thirty pound bulk box, with sizes including extra jumbo, super jumbo, colossal and super colossal, A&A Organic Marketing is also offering a twenty-five by three count, sleeved garlic. Catering to retailers and customers in Canada, this item is arranged in a clean, blue mesh tube with a UPC code and French translations on the label. A&A Organic Marketing, Inc. is pleased to announce that they will also have organic white garlic from Mexico to load in Los Angeles this May.

Not wanting East Coast customers to feel left out, A&A Organic Marketing, Inc. has ramped up shipments of product to Pennsylvania. A&A Organic Marketing has partnered with Manfredi Cold Storage near Philadelphia to store product. By mid-April, the Gispe and Guanaco brands of white garlic will be available to load at Manfredi Cold Storage along with the La Conquista labeled Packam Pears. "Manfredi was a logical choice as it is a certified organic facility and will be able to pack our three count garlic sleeves," said A&A President Andy Martin. "We have more than doubled the amount of garlic imported compared to last year. Our grower, based in Argentina, has expanded so we now have access to more products. This increased supply from Argentina will allow the season to mesh with our supply of organic garlic from Mexico. We will be in garlic from January to June and are working on a California deal to go year round," added Mr. Martin.

Warm Weather Means Fresh Produce from California Growers

With the spring season here and summer around the corner, A&A Organic Marketing, Inc. is eager to promote products from their Northern California growers. Mr. Martin explains that, "Out of the Salinas Valley we are currently harvesting organic broccoli in the A&A Organic label and will have a steady supply through June. Also, this ranch will also have organic green cabbage starting in May."

To start their season, Poco Loco Organic Farm in Gilroy, CA, will have organic sugar snap and English peas.  Additionally, Poco Loco has planted beets and bi-color corn for late June harvest, along with a variety of other organic vegetables.  C and N Farms in Gonzales, CA will come on strong with organic Easter egg radishes shortly followed by organic strawberries, chards, Lacinato kale and peas, just to name a few.  A&A looks forward to providing fresh, organic produce to California shoppers this season.
