KIRKLAND, Wash. — Hipcricket, the one-stop mobile marketing and advertising brand owned by Augme(R) Technologies, Inc., announced that leading poultry producer Springer Mountain Farms will launch a mobile website, as well as text-to-win and loyalty rebate campaigns in April 2012. Hipcricket's campaigns aim to drive sales for distributors and retailers, encourage customer loyalty via rebate codes and increase consumer awareness with event-based mobile contests, all while simultaneously building an opt-in loyalty program which Springer Mountain Farms can leverage in future marketing efforts.
The Springer Mountain Farms mobile site focuses on alerting consumers to the weekly "specials" offered by retail partners across the country. Recognizing the opportunities that mobile marketing can offer, Springer Mountain Farms selected Hipcricket to optimize its mobile web experience, thereby driving consumer awareness of weekly deals and sales at retail establishments that feature Springer Mountain products. Additionally, Hipcricket will promote the mobile site with rebate codes placed on product packaging which consumers can retrieve via an online form.
Springer Mountain Farms has also partnered with a local minor league baseball team in a text-to-win campaign powered by Hipcricket. Attendees will be prompted to text "chicken" to 30333 at home games to win a prize, thereby generating a response from the farm, which will award the prize to the 50th person to text. Springer Mountain hopes to build excitement and consumer engagement, while encouraging game attendees to opt-in for the company's mobile loyalty program.
"As a local, family-owned business, we want our campaigns to be as personalized and relevant as possible," said Dale Faunce, Director of Marketing, Springer Mountain Farms. "Working with Hipcricket, we identified contests and special offers for our customer base that are optimized for today's mobile-centric world. We are confident in the strategy and delivery behind these offers, which are compatible with our customers' needs and will allow us to engage with the community on a deeper level."
"Springer Mountain Farms is offering its customers multiple means of engagement to ensure that any consumer on any device is able to interact with the company on a personal level," said Doug Stovall, Senior Vice President of Sales, Hipcricket. "We believe the combination of these offerings will significantly enhance Spring Mountain Farms' overall marketing, engagement and customer relationship strategies."
As a full service mobile marketer, Hipcricket's Software as a Service (SaaS) technology platform leverages all mobile channels to empower brands to continuously engage with opted-in consumers anywhere at any time. The company creates multi-channel SMS and MMS campaigns, mobile websites, QR codes and branded apps for its clients, which include many national and regional brands (e.g., Nestle, Macy's, MillerCoors and The American Cancer Society).
