Meat-Lovers, Millenials, Moms Are Three Key Groups For Beef Industry

COLLEGE STATION — With the world's population expected to reach more than 9 billion by 2050, the agriculture industry is not only concerned with how to increase the food supply but what that consumer looks like as well.

At the recent 62nd annual Texas A&M Beef Cattle Short Course, Senior Director of Protein for Performance Food Group Dr. Brad Morgan spoke to cattle producers about consumer trends for the beef industry.

"We change because of the consumer and what they want changes over the years," Dr. Jason Cleere, Texas A&M University associate professor and extension beef cattle specialist, said in introducing Morgan.
