San Antonio-based sausage maker Kiolbassa Provision Co. beefed up its management team, appointing a meat industry veteran as its new vice president of supply chain.
Kiolbassa has named Dan Marshall as vice president of supply chain, the company announced on Tuesday morning.
Over a 20-year career, Marshall rose through ranks at grocery store retailer H-E-B, starting as a meat market manager in Austin to the company's meat procurement business unit director in San Antonio.
“His leadership and expertise comes at a pivotal time for our company as we expand our footprint," Kiolbassa President Michael Kiolbassa told the Business Journal.
