Japanese-Owned Pork Processor Buys Holland, MI's Quincy Street Inc.

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, MI — A national pork processor has bought Quincy Street Inc. a supplier of private label ham products for Grand Rapids-area grocers Meijer and SpartanNash, and food service provider Gordon Food Service.

Indiana Packers Corporation purchased 100 percent of the stock of the Holland Township-based ham products producer for an undisclosed amount, the company said in a statement.

“We are excited about the future growth opportunities at Quincy Street,” said Russ Yearwood, president of Indiana Packers, in a statement. “The Quincy Street dedication to producing high-quality pork products and commitment to customer service complement our business strategy and core values. We look forward to realizing the advantages brought by Quincy Street for many years to come.”
