The Fort Rucker Commissary announced Thursday it had recalled all of its in-house processed fresh beef and pork products with a pack date of Tuesday, Jan. 12.
Officials said in a news release that the products may have been contaminated with a degreaser product that has not been approved for meat processing.
The news release said the product was used inadvertently. The manufacturer’s label on the degreaser stated that “if ingested, rinse out mouth, don’t induce vomiting and get medical attention if you feel unwell.”
