The Board of Morgan County Commissioners approved a liquor license permit for the Wiggins American Legion Post and extended the time buyers can wait until they purchase land for the Rocky Mountain Natural Meats plant planned for Brush.
The commissioners also on Tuesday approved the budget for the Morgan County Department of Human Services child services program and a fuel bid.
Rocky Mountain is still working with the city of Brush regarding the plant, which would process American bison meat, and this gives the company a chance to keep negotiating, said Morgan County Attorney George Monsson.
