Beef Prices Decline In Pacific Northwest

According to the USDA beef prices are on the rise across the country. While local cattle ranchers say beef prices in the Pacific Northwest peaked earlier this year, prices are starting to decline.

Owner Larry Olberding of Oldberding Farms in Connell says local prices were steep in January.

"A 600 pound calf was bringing in our area $2.60 to $2.70 a pound," says Olberding.
