Bilinski's, a sausage manufacturing company known for its organic and all-natural chicken sausages, invested $1 million to add a production line for meatballs and breakfast patties.
The investment will double Bilinski's production capacity. The company, founded in 1929, today employs 50 people at its headquarters in Cohoes, New York.
Bilinski's introduced four flavors of chicken meatballs in 2014. Those are Italian-style chicken meatballs, chicken parmesan meatballs, buffalo-style with bleu cheese chicken meatballs and spinach and garlic chicken meatballs. More frozen breakfast chicken patties, as well as frozen meatballs, are on the way, says company president Stacie Waters.
