We tend to associate roses more with Valentine's Day, but a spooky new bouquet from Waitrose is perfectly suited to Halloween – because they glow in the dark.
By day, the flowers look like normal white Avalanche roses, but when the lights are switched off, they emit an eerie glow.
The trick is achieved using a special powder which is dusted on the flowers' petals.
