Canby, Ore. – Terra Nova Nurseries announced a sneak peek of the NORTHERN EXPOSURE™ Series, its brand new heuchera series, with Heuchera ‘Lime’ being the first variety introduced to the series. The global breeding company also announced a sneak peek of the new Lithodora GOLD N’ SAPPHIRES™ variety. Both varieties in mention are now currently available to growers for advanced liner orders.
Heuchera ‘Lime’ is a medium-large, long-lived landscape plant with multiple crowns and round, lime-green leaves that stay lime green all year. It forms a dense rounded mound and has narrow spikes of yellow-green flowers. This perennial makes for excellent use in borders, mixed beds, or as a woodland or an accent plant.
Future additions to the NORTHERN EXPOSURE Series will follow on a later date, including Heuchera ‘Amber’ and Heuchera ‘Red’.
Lithodora GOLD N’ SAPPHIRES has deep-blue flowers that provide beautiful contrast with its gold foliage, which stays attractive throughout summer. This perennial has outstanding vigor and is sun tolerant. It can serve as well-placed groundcover on hot, sunny banks or between stepping stones.
