Charlotte, North Carolina – Svensson has added to its North American sales group, welcoming three new members.
Jon Adams joins the Northeastern Region; Gary Hale comes to the Florida Territory, and Jorge Gonzalez is now a sales engineer in Mexico.
“The additions of these experienced professionals further enhance our coverage and take our customer service to new levels,” said Kurt Parbst, president of Svensson’s North- and South American subsidiary.
Jon has a strong background in technical sales and experience in the greenhouse and lighting industry. He served as vice president for one of Canada's largest custom lighting manufacturers before moving into greenhouse lighting sales. Based in the Niagara area, Jon supports Svensson’s dealer network throughout the Northeastern territory, while providing growers on-demand technical support.
Gary comes to Svensson with over 35 years of experience in the industry, including 17 years as owner and grower of an indoor foliage greenhouse, 5 years in sales at a polyethylene greenhouse film manufacturer and 13 years with XS Smith, Inc. as territory sales manager. He supports Florida and the surrounding southeastern states.
Jorge brings to Svensson a diverse background in applied technologies as well as broad academic credentials from Canada, the U.S. and France. A Queretaro, Mexico native, he currently resides in the area and provides more efficient support through closer contact with the customer base.
Established in 1887, the Svensson family business continues to improve the success of professional greenhouse growers by providing tools that enhance the greenhouse climate. Solutions include textiles that have been engineered for the greenhouse to conserve energy, moderate temperature extremes and fluctuations, control daylength and reduce pesticide and herbicide usage.
