Always eager to wow its customers with different fascinating succulents, the company employs two full-time succulent breeders, whose mission is to explore and develop vibrant and unique new varieties for the marketplace. Striking, must-have hybrids with vivid names such as 'Caribbean Rose', 'Sahara' and 'Blizzard', as well as irresistible traits.
In 2009, Altman Plants began applying for patents on select varieties of its hybrid succulents to protect and celebrate these boundary-pushing creations. Nine years later it has amassed a collection of more than two dozen patented succulents (plus more pending). This rarified group represents some of the most beloved and coveted plants grown by Altman.
