Society Of American Florists Congressional Action Days, March 14-15

Every spring, SAF members from across the country come to Washington to share their experiences and bring floral industry issues to the attention of their legislators.

In 2011 they will be needed more than ever. This January there will be 109 freshmen legislators on Capitol Hill.  That means 20 percent of the people in Congress will need to

  1. learn what it's like to be in a floral business today
  2. gain an understanding of the floral industry and it's issues
  3. gather the tools and information required to make decisions.

On March 14-15 SAF members will be there to:

  • learn how to talk about their concerns with legislators
  • help bring Congressional newcomers up to speed on the floral industry
  • remind returning legislators why we matter.

Nothing has more impact than the personal story of a constituent who takes the time to come to Washington. Imagine the impact when SAF members from every part of the floral industry walk into offices on Capitol Hill on the same day and speak with one voice!

Join us in Washington March 14-15 for the 31st Annual SAF Congressional Action Days.

We promise, you will make a difference for your business and your industry.
