Rocklin resident Debbie Jackson was named Floral Marketer of the Year for 2011 by California Fresh Produce and Fresh Floral Council last month.
A resident of Rocklin since 1989, Jackson is the Western Senior Floral Buyer for Albertsons/Supervalu Markets.
Before settling into a career in the floral industry, Jackson worked in banking, the defense industry, real estate as well as several years as a homemaker.
Her husband, Don, was a civil servant and an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserves, which led to moves to Hawaii, Utah, Virginia and the Bay Area.
