MIAMI, FL — When it came time to select roses befitting a beauty queen and her court, the Miss America Pageant turned to PassionRoses again, for the fourth year in a row. PassionRoses is proud to partner with the Miss America organization and be the Official Rose of the 2014 Miss America Competition. The 2014 Miss America Competition was broadcast live from the Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall on Sunday September 15, 2013 on ABC.
The bouquets, made from red PassionRoses, grown in the savannah de Bogota, Colombia and hand-picked for Miss America, were featured prominently during the Miss America Competition crowning ceremony by the court of Honor to the newly appointed Miss America, former Miss New York Nina Davuluri, and at the off-air press conference. PassionRoses were additionally showcased as part of the Miss America float in the historic Show Us Your Shoes parade, and provided the pageant luncheon décor.
"Partnering with the Miss America Competition is an incredible opportunity for PassionRoses," says PassionRoses founder Jaime Peisach. "Participating with an organization that so closely reflects our own values and the importance of education is a true honor as well as an amazing experience. We are proud to be a part of the Competition and look forward to continuing to grow the Miss America partnership in the future."
"We couldn’t be more thrilled to continue the partnership with PassionRoses as the Official Rose of the Miss America Competition. For the fourth year of the tradition, Miss America 2014 and her Court of Honor were presented with PassionRoses live on ABC," stated Sharon Pearce, the interim President of the Miss America Organization.
