The California Cut Flower Commission's Board of Commissioners recently elected Chad Nelson of Eufloria Flowers in Nipomo as Chairman of the Commission for 2011.
Nelson has served as a District 2 Commissioner for the past nine years and as chairman of the Commission's Promotion Committee for the past four years and a member of the Executive Committee for the past three.
"Serving as a Commissioner for the past several years I have been able to participate and see first hand the valuable work that the Cut Flower Commission does on our behalf," says Nelson. "I am honored to have been elected by my fellow Commissioners to serve as Chair and I look forward to working with them in this important capacity to address the challenges and advance the interests of my fellow cut flower and greens growers of California."
