Every year, AIPH organizes an international Grower of the Year Competition for her members. Each organization is allowed to nominate a grower for the competition; in some countries, a national competition leads to a nomination for the International Grower of the year Award.
This year AIPH has received nominees from countries in nearly all continents: Australia, Belgium, Canada, England, Italy, and the Netherlands.
In the initial round, the jury has made a first selection of the best 5 candidates. These candidates will be invited to attend the AIPH award ceremony.
For the third time in a row, the winner of the competition will be announced during the Award ceremony will be held this year in Venlo at the occasion of the AIPH Congress 2012.
