NEOSHO, Mo. — K&S Wire Products has begun a 13,000-square-foot expansion after receiving a purchase order from a Chinese manufacturer of artificial flowers.
The Neosho-based company will make a floral display rack that will be used in the stores of a major U.S. retailer. K&S President Gene Schwartz Sr. declined to identify the retailer on Wednesday.
Schwartz said the deal with the Chinese company is in six figures, but he declined to cite a specific amount.
K&S Wire Products manufactures items including retail store fixtures and displays, animal cages, agriculture and school furniture, and political sign holders.
