NAIROBI — Kenya's flower industry lobby said Friday it will complete the implementation of a national mechanism of compliance for all players in the sector by the end of 2015.
Kenya Flower Council (KFC) CEO Jane Ngige told journalists in Nairobi that the move will help flower exporters in meeting stringent rules of importing nations, Xinhua news agency reported.
"All flower exporters should demonstrate compliance to international standards by the end of 2015," Ngige said.
The Dutch government has provided US$400,000 U.S. dollars for the programme's implementation.
