In the past 30 years, the state's Jersey Fresh program has entrenched itself as the chief advertising and grading mechanism for New Jersey's multitude of farms growing fruits and vegetables.
However, that only represents 41 percent of all farms in the state.
Another 42 percent is made up of nurseries offering plants, trees, shrubs, annuals and flowers, and those growers have only had their own dedicated, state-wide booster since 2006.
