Brighton, CO – Greenleaf Wholesale Florist, one of the largest wholesale floral chains in the US, has named Dana Sprayberry as its new Director of Sales.
Mr. Sprayberry, who had been Division Manager at Continental Floral Greens, will be working with Greenleaf’s store managers and sales representatives to improve service and product offerings to grow the company.
“The wholesale business is changing. It is no longer sufficient to have good service and products; now companies have to provide more for their customer and really go after the business", noted Scott Kitayama, President of Greenleaf Wholesale. "Dana Sprayberry’s understanding of our floral customers, as well as his experience in managing sales forces, will help Greenleaf take advantage of the opportunities occurring in the floral industry.”
Before joining Greenleaf Wholesale, Mr. Sprayberry spent 13 years at Continental Floral Greens, where he started and managed the mass market division of Continental Floral Greens, and before that, Continental’s Mexican import division, Best Blooms.
“I am excited about joining the Greenleaf team. The size and scope of our floral distribution network along with our farm in California provides us the ability to create new services and offerings that few companies will be able to match”, replied Dana Sprayberry when asked why he came to Greenleaf.
Prior to Continental Floral Greens, Dana was the sales manager for JB Parks in Dallas for over 20 years.
Mr. Sprayberry has a college degree from UTA and presently lives in San Antonio, TX with his wife, Tammy, and both stay busy with their six children.
Greenleaf Wholesale Florist (http://www.greenleafwholesale.com) has been serving the floral trade for over 50 years in 17 cities across Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.
