The fresh, light blooms of the new Lagerstroemia indica ‘Eveline’ were crowned with a gold award at Florall in August 2015. The jury was convinced that ‘Eveline’ brings innovation to the range, thus creating new marketing opportunities. ‘Eveline’ retains its compact shape and is therefore suitable for both garden and patio use. The jury also praised the fact that Kwekerij Devriese-Luyssen has created a link between ‘Eveline’ and the KiKa foundation (a children’s cancer charity).
Granddaughter Eveline
Lagerstroemia indica ‘Eveline’ is a beautiful plant with an inspiring story behind it: the plant’s breeder was so impressed by its beauty that he named it after his granddaughter. ‘Eveline’ is festooned with large flowers in summer and autumn. With its pastel pink blooms and fresh green leaves, ‘Eveline’ will bring a ray of light into any garden. Its shape is also a feast for the eyes.
