On Wednesday, June 19, 99 percent by turnover of the represented cut chrysanthemum growers voted in favour of the promotion plan from the FloraHolland chrysanthemum product committee (FPC) and Chryson.
In total, 56 percent by product turnover for 2012 of chrysanthemum-growing members voted on the presented plan. Since the FloraHolland General Members' Meeting in December 2012, it has been possible to vote on product-specific promotion at the members' request.
Product meeting
The product meeting took place at the chrysanthemum grower Dirk-Jan Breugem in Ridderkerk. During this meeting the promotion plan with the associated activities was explained by Brigitte Hagen van ConceptFactory. She was representing Chryson. In the coming year, various activities are being conducted to increase the availability and further strengthen the image of the chrysanthemum. The most important target groups of these activities are consumers, florists and wholesalers.
