The Dutch Flower Group has announced the nominees for this year’s Dutch Flower Awards. The announcement of the actual winners and the prize ceremony will take place during the FloraHolland Trade Fair, on November 3.
The Dutch Flower Group, an alliance of 25 renowned Dutch breeders and growers, compiles a list of nominees for the awards every year. Three categories are recognized: cut flower suppliers, plant suppliers and suppliers from outside of the Netherlands.
The criteria which the DFG employs in deciding on its nominees include cooperativeness, sustainability, reliability, innovativeness, flexibility, quality awareness and orientation to the future. Because of the variety of opinions among the business group's companies, deciding on the actual list of nominees is nonetheless usually a time-consuming process.
