The Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers (ASCFG) will host two meetings next March. The first will be held in Athens, Georgia, March 2-3. Speaker sessions include using woody ornamentals as cut flowers, postharvest handling techniques, healthy soils, and a wreath-making demonstration. Tours of local flower farms will take place the second day.
The ASCFG will meet in San Jose March 23-24. A two-part presentation on peony production will be featured, as well as a session on Australian and South African cut flowers, organic production, and flower farming experiences from both new and veteran growers. Farm tours will also be held.
