International florist organization Florint and world’s largest cut flower food company Chrysal just signed an agreement to work together on several projects, in order to raise awareness among florists regarding the importance of optimising flower quality and increasing consumer satisfaction when it comes to buying flowers. The two parties will exchange information and work together on specific projects and activities throughout Europe.
Chrysal and Florint aim to help florists distinguish themselves in the market through added value, good customer service and delivering flowers to consumers in excellent condition. Supplying top quality flowers that consumers can enjoy for a long time can only be realised by implementing a chain quality strategy, including a quality management policy in the shop.
Florint’s general secretary Toine Zwitserlood is convinced that this strategic cooperation will be of major importance: “A joint approach to critical problems the florists are facing creates a win-win situation as it serves both our interests. It creates huge opportunities to tackle these problems much more effectively, to help florists to operate more professionally and strengthen their competitive power”.
