As of January the 1st, 19 prominent Dutch horticultural suppliers have started working together in order to maximize the services they can offer to their customers. The coalition is going by the name of the Horti Alliance.
One of the key assumptions underlying the effort is that by centralizing knowledge and experience, as well as sharing those with clients more intensively, Dutch growers will be more capable of staying on top of the sector’s essential developments. By having all activities aimed at clients bundled together, relevant information from suppliers will become more accessible as well as be distributed faster.
An elaborate and exclusive program is to be offered to a select part of the Dutch horticultural branch in the coming year, with all 19 partner organizations fielding experts to present the know-how from their specific professional fields. A sequence of invitation-only seminars and intense trainings will be held to facilitate this process.
